Those are heart-breaking words coming from my oldest. Zach and his family have a pretty busy life... shuttling back and forth between sports, school, Grammy's, friends, swimming lessons, work, etc... but we FINALLY got around to learning one of the best things in a young boy's life... how to ride a bike. This is as much of a learning experience for the parents as for the child. How much to hold on... when to let go... too much help balancing and they don't learn enough... not enough help and they crash and burn... So much like LIFE.
Love love love the pictures! Sad though that their growing up
ReplyDeleteThat was actually me Jenny
ReplyDeleteOh, my boys! I am so proud of both of all three of them. They do so much to amaze me of how really special and smart they are. It is Zach's rite of passage as a young boy. It was a day that reminds me of how precious the younger years are in our lives. I try not to forget how lucky I am to have my grandsons here for me to see them everyday. I also appreciate that one day they will be teenagers, and we will be competing with friends and activities. So I cherish every single day that I have with them. It is the main reason I watch them in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI love you boys!
